is named after the hotel’s most
famous resident Leo Tolstoy. Providing
a home from home our hotel rooms offer
a superior type of four star accommodation
in downtown Florence most commonly associated
with the higher end of the 4 star hotel
category. Bright and spacious each room
features original antique furniture,
satellite tv, marble finished bathrooms,
hi-tech climate control system and internet
broadband connection for use with laptop.
The difference between the superior
and standard rooms is simply
that the Superior Rooms are more spacious
and contain a seperate writing desk
and chairs.

ginseng bathroom courtesy kit made-up

There are 29 suites the most expensive
of which is the Tolstoy or Tolstoj
Suite as it is known in Italian
which is made up of two adjoining double
rooms, two bathrooms and living room.
It contains original 18th century paintings
and is furnished in the traditional
Florentine Floreale Liberty style.
